The Brewery

Our approach to making good beer is trying new things with a careful hand. Whether it’s a new take on an old style or simply brewing the most tried-and-true lager you’ve ever had, we find the art in it all.

Now, let’s introduce Maggie! Maggie graduated from UNH and minored in brewing. She interned at another local brewery, and joined Dave Yarrington, founder and master-brewer at Chapel+Main in 2020. Maggie is a good egg with a knack for brewing. After running the bulk of production for the past several years, she took the helm in October 2024. You may know her for such fine work as Dolce Vita Italian Pils and many more.

Dave Yarrington, co-founder, is a “venerable legend in the New England craft beer industry.” We didn’t say it, some guy did, but either way, we’re lucky to have had Dave’s insight, spirit and energy in our nascent years. Dave started his journey in beer some thirty years ago. Working around the world, honing his craft, including down the road in Hampton where he served as brewmaster at Smuttynose for nearly two decades. Dave moved on to greener pastures in 2024 (well, actually, just lake-life, golf, and some cellar work at Earth Eagle).
